Our Roots in Sheffield

We Do 3D Printing was established in 2013 as a division of We Do Retail Ltd, right in the heart of Sheffield, England. From day one, our goal has been to bridge the gap between engineers, designers, educators, and hobbyists by offering comprehensive support at every stage of the 3D printing journey.

Recognising a Gap in the Market

When we first entered the world of additive manufacturing, we quickly discovered a surprising lack of reliable information, dedicated support channels, and readily available parts and accessories. We solved these issues by opening a one-stop shop for 3D printing. Whether you were looking for specialty nozzles, high-performance filaments, or advanced control boards, we stocked the products here in Sheffield and provided support for everything we sold.

We soon evolved from being solely a supply company to also offering services, as many customers wanted the benefits of 3D printing without the cost and learning curve of owning a printer. The next stage of our growth focused on expanding our 3D print farm to over 50 machines. This now allows us to produce production runs of parts as well as prototypes.

We continue to expand our printer range, including large-format machines capable of printing over 1 metre, and high-precision systems that deliver flawless surface finishes.
