Project Description
Produce a large-scale diorama of the proposed wind-powered battery farm.
The model will be used to demonstrate the site layout and infrastructure upon full development, and therefore must be accurate and highly detailed. The diorama should be built to scale and include all key components such as transformers, battery storage units, access roads, fencing, control buildings, and topographical features based on the latest site plans.
Project Outcome
A detailed 3D model was developed based on architectural site plans and reference imagery provided by equipment manufacturers. The model was rendered to accurately visualise the final physical layout and to facilitate the identification of any necessary design modifications prior to fabrication.
Upon client approval of the finalised 3D CAD model, individual site components were produced using a combination of 3D printing technologies, selected based on the most suitable for each part. The printed components were then assembled to form the complete site model.
Post-processing involved precision hand-painting and the application of surface textures, including simulated vegetation such as grass and bushes, to enhance realism and context.
