Project Description
Produce functional model wind turbine, for use at trade shows and exhibitions. Must be over 1m and transportable.
Project Outcome
We Do 3D Printing designed and fabricated a 1.3-meter-tall functional wind turbine featuring a rotor blade span exceeding 1 meter. The system integrates a variable-speed controller, allowing precise adjustment of blade rotational velocity to suit testing or demonstration conditions.
For ease of transportation, the turbine includes a modular blade assembly with quick-release mechanisms. The base unit is weighted to maintain stability during operation.
This project leveraged multidisciplinary expertise, combining additive manufacturing, mechanical system design, and embedded electronics integration to deliver a robust and portable demonstration unit.
